So, can anyone suggest a path to get Evernote to tell Outlook about its Reminders, or Outlook to tell Evernote about its Tasks? It seems like that is for world creators known as "developers", and I am afraid to go near it! Is there a way to seamlessly integrate them? If it is possible to feed my Outlook tasks over to Evernote, I would consider making it my default "use this program" task list.īut, as it stands now, I have a Reminder list in Evernote, and a Task list in Outlook (or ToDo) and they both do the same thing, and often both will contain tasks on what is the same project. I need some way to synchronize my Evernote Reminders over to my Outlook tasks. How do I get those tasks seamlessly, and without MY working on each one individually, OVER to my Outlook Tasks? There are ways to set up individual links and email them over and all that other stuff, but that requires ME to REMEMBER to send a task to Outlook. So far, my automation, of tasks I think up on the fly, is pretty good. I can easily convert "Call Betty about Veronica's party" into a date/time reminder.
When I am home, and have a flash of inspiration, I simply say, “ Alexa, tell My Notebook to call Betty about Veronica's party” and VIOLA! There is a note in Evernote saying, " To call Betty about Veronica's par d". With my tablets and phone and PC, Evernote does great. I do have a MS Exchange email account, but I think the one thing we can all agree upon is using Outlook for anything OTHER THAN MS Exchange email is like using a double-decker bus with a push-mower strapped to the front for cutting your yard. But, email moves around easily, so that is not an issue. My email is flexible-I am torn between Gmail and Thunderbird for various POP/IMAP accounts.
